DEOXY team Robert Grummt, Heinrich Grabmayr and Johannes Wöhrstein are new extraordinary CeNS members

Dr. Heinrich Grabmayr studied physics at the University of Konstanz and the TU Munich. He did his PhD in the field of STED microscopy at Prof. Andreas Bausch's chair for cellular biophysics at TUM. From 2014 until 2017, he joined the lab of Thomas Gregor at Princeton University as a research associate, focusing on lattice light sheet microscopy. In 2017, he was one of the co-founders of DEOXY at LMU where he has been responsible for technology development since.

Dr. Robert Grummt studied physics at LMU, the University of Nottingham and the University of Toronto. He did his PhD at LMU in Theoretical Physics at the chair of Prof. Detlef Dürr. From 2014 until 2016, he worked as a software engineer for Brainlab AG and later as team lead and account director for IXDS GmbH from 2016 to 2018. In parallel, he joined the DEOXY team, whre he is responsible for business development, general management and product design.

Dr. Johannes Wöhrstein studied physics with a specialization in biophysics at TUM. He did his master thesis in the group of Prof. Fritz Simmel (TUM) and at the Wyss Institute at Harvard University. From 2015 until 2017, he did his PhD in the group of Prof. Ralf Jungmann at the MPI of Biochemistry. He has been a project leader at DEOXY since January 2017.
