Workshop: DNA, RNA and Synthetic Evolution
Date: Friday, December 18th, 2009
Venue: Center for Advanced Studies (CAS), LMU Munich (directions)
Organized by
Prof. Dieter Braun (LMU Munich) and Prof. Friedrich Simmel (TU Munich)
Workshop Topic
Evolution is a powerful process to solve complex problems. Using DNA and RNA, methods of synthetic evolution can be implemented in the laboratory. For these molecules, the sequence-structure relationship is particularly evident. The Workshop will illuminate novel approaches of synthetic evolution to development artificial structures and functions from different perspectives.
