Dr. Petar Marinkovic becomes new CeNS member
Dr. Petar Marinković successfully led the project NanoCapture from proof-of-principle studies to the fully funded BMBF GO-Bio project. Currently located at the Department of Pharmacy, LMU, NanoCapture team works on developing novel approaches to significantly improve the selectivity of drug delivery during tumour chemotherapies.
Dr. Petar Marinković studied molecular biology at the University of Belgrade, Serbia. He did his PhD in the group of Prof. Thomas Misgeld at TU-München where he studied axonal transport of mitochondria. After a postdoc with Prof. Jochen Herms at DZNE/LMU he teamed-up with Dr. Oliver Thorn-Seshold at LMU to translate the fundamental research into clinical applications.
