Dr. Frank Trixler joins CeNS as extraordinary member
The new member of CeNS, Dr. Frank Trixler, is currently a postdoc in the group of Prof. Heckl, where he leads the Organic Semiconductor group at the Dept. Earth and Environmental Sciences, Section Crystallography (LMU), and at the Center for New Technologies (ZNT), NanoLab, Deutsches Museum. After completing his diploma study in Business Administration and Management at the University of Applied Sciences Munich, Frank studied Crystallography at the LMU Munich. He received his Ph.D. in the group of Prof. Heckl with his work on a deposition method for organic semiconductors enabling nanoscale controllable self-assembly. His current research is focused on the development of approaches suitable for ambient conditions to grow complex semiconductor monolayers and nanostructures.
