Welcome!

Professor Peter Müller-Buschbaum joins CeNS as Extraordinary Member

Professor Peter Müller-Buschbaum carries out research on semi-conducting and photoactive polymers as well as inorganic-organic hybrid materials for applications in photovoltaics. His further research interests are Nanostructured Polymer Films and Functional Polymer Materials.

After completing his undergraduate studies and his PhD in physics at the University of Kiel, he was a postdoctoral Fellow at the Max-Planck-Institute of Polymer Research, Mainz. In 1997, Peter Müller-Buschbaum was visiting scientist at Institut Laue-Langevin (ILL) and European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF), Grenoble (France). In 1999, he became group leader of "Polymer Interface group" at the chair of Prof. Petry, Physics Department, TU Munich. Professor Müller-Buschbaum received his habilitation in experimental Physics at TU Munich in 2003. Since 2006, he is full professor (Chair of Functional Materials) at the Physics Department of TU Munich.
