Dr. András Deák joins CeNS as Extraordinary Member

 

András Deák obtained his PhD in chemistry in 2007 from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, in Hungary. Since 2007, he holds a permanent position at the Research Institute of Technical Physics and Materials Science of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. His main field of interest are colloid chemistry, interfacial phenomena, nanoparticles, optical properties of nanoparticles and their application.

In 2009 he was granted an Excellent Research Fellowship from LMU and joined the group of Professor Jochen Feldmann at the end of 2009. His current activity is primarily focused on metallodielectric core-shell nanoparticles for solar cell application.
