Overview

CeNS offers a wide range of activities and benefits for more than 200 CeNS associates. Workshops, seminars, colloquia and lecture series are organized on a regular basis. Student initiated events like Science Rocks! are strongly encouraged and supported. International exchange programs and soft-skill workshops complete the interdisciplinary program.

International Diversity

CeNS coordinates an annual international call for applications for open PhD positions within CeNS and gives students from all around the world the exciting opportunity to earn their PhD in an international environment of nanoscientists. Approximately 20% of the PhD students come from outside of Germany. In addition to the excellent offer of multidisciplinary research and education, they also enjoy being in one of Germany’s most beautiful and cosmopolitan cities. more...
